Which sources we use
For operating facts such as opening hours, admission, booking and directions, we start from the temple’s own website and the relevant pages of heritage and tourism agencies. Travel times and fares are approximate values checked against map routing and official transit information; when a temple website and map routing disagree, we use the map routing value.
Editorial content, such as how English-friendly a temple is, visitor-tip summaries and recommendations, is based on online sources and visitor reviews, and is treated separately from operating facts.
How we record each check
Each checked value is stored with its source address, the date it was checked and the value as it stood then. When a value changes, the previous value and the reason are kept in the change history. You can see these records under Sources and checks on every temple page.
AI agents open the sources and cross-check them; the operator approves what is published. The records say when a check was made by an AI agent.
How often we recheck
Each group of content has a review cycle: operating facts such as hours and directions within 90 days, editorial guidance within 180 days, and story cards within 365 days. A value past its review date is marked Needs review or removed from the page.
What we leave blank
If we cannot find a source, or sources disagree, we do not fill the gap with a guess. We leave the value blank or record the call the operator made. Map coordinates and addresses come only from checked place pages.
